On Sunday night, 23 June 2024, police conducted a multi-disciplinary operation at eNtshele where they arrested four suspects who were found in possession of a rifle, two pistols, a revolver and ammunition. The suspects were arrested and charged for being in unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition. The recovered firearms will be subjected to ballistic testing to ascertain if they were used in the commission of any crime in the country.
Police investigations are still on-going.
