When users click on one of the Suggested Routes, it will display information such as walking distance, train platform location and number of stops.
The Trip Planner also has a feature that allows users to set their own departure and arrival times or check out the last bus or train transportation options for the day. There is also a tab that alerts users about disruptions and affected services. It will also suggest an option to take a Grab ride by providing the estimated fare and travel duration.
This is part of Grab’s plan to widen the usage of its app which is mostly utilised for ride-hailing, by creating a “super app” with multiple services. Grab is having an event tomorrow, most likely to announce other features like ticketing and hotel booking which it expects to implement in a few months.
