An estimated 70 million Americans will travel for the Fourth of July holiday week — and the TSA is predicting this could be one of the busiest travel periods ever at the nation’s airports. NBC’s Maggie Vespa reports for TODAY.

Light your sparklers: it's time to celebrate the Fourth of July! Each year, we gather with friends and family to commemorate the day our country declared independence in 1776. From backyard barbecues to local parades, there are so many festive activities to enjoy on the Fourth of July. Setting off fireworks is one beloved Fourth of July holiday tradition, and the Macy's 4th of July fireworks show is arguably one of the most famous firework displays in the country.

Where to watch the Macy's 4th of July fireworks in NYC If you're in New York City for the Fourth of July, don't miss the chance to see the Macy's fireworks display in person along the Hudson River. This year, New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced that 10,000 free tickets will be available to the public to watch the Macy’s 4th of July fireworks from Pier 84 in Manhattan or Pier 45 at Hudson River Park.
