Experts said there are things to do to make sure your vehicle is prepped for vacation mode.

Millions of Americans will get in planes, trains and automobiles to travel for the Fourth of July.'We're hitting a new record with almost 71 million people traveling 50 miles or more from home this holiday week,' Central PA AAA spokesperson Doni Lee Spiegel said.The majority of those travelers will be hitting the road, and the number keeps increasing.'In 2019, we saw 55.3 million people take a road trip for the Fourth of July holiday. Last year, that was a new record – 57.

Experts said there are things to do to make sure your vehicle is ready for vacation mode.'Before you leave, check all your fluids. Check your brake fluid. Check your engine oil, for sure,' said Zaid Badri, manager at Mavis Discount Tire. 'TPMS tire pressure monitor usually comes on if the weather changes. If it drops a couple PSI, the light comes on and a lot of people freak out about it. So, check your air in your tires.
