AAA projects 50.7 million people will travel for the Fourth of July to spend time with family, enjoy festivities and celebrate America’s birthday.

From Thursday through Sunday, officers from several Lebanon County police departments will conduct roving patrols targeting impaired drivers, DA Pier Hess Graf said.Lebanon County District Attorney Pier Hess Graf on Wednesday announced that police in the county will participate in an impaired driving enforcement initiative over the Fourth of July weekend.

The initiative is part of the Nationwide Impaired Driving Campaign and is designed to reduce alcohol and drug related traffic crashes, she added.
