Former EPA Chief Spent $124,000 on Improper Travel, Watchdog Finds

WASHINGTON—President Trump’s former top environmental adviser improperly spent $124,000 on first-class flights and other upgraded airfare, according to federal inspectors, who recommended that the government consider ways to recover the money.

Scott Pruitt resigned his post as administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency last July amid allegations of ethical lapses and improper spending.

He should pay out of his own pocket. Now, what about the political clowns who used tax payer funds to pay off (hush) their sexual picadillos for the last 30 years. Publish their names, allegations and the pay outs. People have right to know

A repayment plan should be set up to clawback all charges in excess of “fair & reasonable” government rates.

How about the same way they do the rest of us. File charges of theft / embezzlement, arrest him, freeze him accounts and go to trial.

This is in no way close to what Pelosi has spent using government planes to travel to San Fran from Washington every weekend back on Monday mornings for years at taxpayer expense. This has probably been in the millions of dollars. Check this out.

As head of a department why doesn't he get travel? Also, why don't these people get per Diem for their days in Washington. These secretary jobs are all temporary. Do we only want people who live in DC already or rich enough to support two homes. Be realistic.

How many cabinet members use government aircraft to travel? Curious.
