Acquiring an arm like Stroman’s ahead of Wednesday’s trade deadline would benefit New York’s pitching immensely, especially given the rotation’s struggles of late that have seen the team surrender
seven or more runs in seven consecutive games.Aside from New York, the Minnesota Twins, San Diego Padres and Houston Astros are also rumoured to be interested in acquiring the 28-year-old veteran starter.
Jays will get hosed on this deal as well. All they do is dump salaries and get trash back. My sisters are better talent scouts and arbitrators than the people the blow jays have
FAN590 I can handle Stroman being traded (sort of) but seeing him in Yankee pinstripes would be devastating.
Blue Jay fans lost respect for Blue Jays management
FAN590 If you can weaken your opponent for the long haul, you have to do it. Getting the 1 prospect in your farm system hurts longer than Stroman being under contract after he signs. Jays
Sounds good , for all those people saying keep Stroman... for what? We know he’s not resigning with the Jays after next year so better to get some return for the future than lose him for nothing
Who?
As so it should be like that...look who we gave up for a carnival pitcher like Dickey ...
Nooooo! 😭😭😭
Storm an is a proven commodity and a number 1 prospect is just that, a prospect. I would keep Stroman.
He should be what they ask for from the Yankees. Team in the same division....always ask for the most.
Now CC is on the IL with a bum knee. SF is not trading MB. Cle not likely trading Bauer. Cost of Stro to NY could and should be very high.

You cannot set the franchise back by asking for scraps for a great player like Marcus. Yes he has a ton of losses, but that’s because the Jays never get run support for him. Also he’s not a FA until after next season. If you don’t get an offer you like, keep him.
From an inter division rival. Damn right I am gonna demand more. You don’t get what you want if you ask for less.
never gonna happen..
And Friday they said they may extend him. 🤷🏼They're just stirring it up at this point. BlueJays are stupid to trade him.
If they need starting pitching badly they better pay up lol
