Germans start missing the visibility of their soldiers after every few decades. And then they start repenting and repaying.....

The objective is wrong. It should be for the welfare of the people in uniform. It is our gratitude to the people who will put them in harm's way to protect our country.

I expect the EU would be ordered to allow the Army of the United States of Germany to travel around in their uniforms free of charge. Many Brits' grandfathers would be turning in their graves.
