Heard on the Street: The demise of 178-year old British tour operator Thomas Cook is a testament to the profound changes faced by the tourism industry

On Monday, Thomas Cook announced that it had entered compulsory liquidation after failing to strike a £1.1 billion rescue deal with investors and creditors. The move put 21,000 jobs at risk and stranded up to 600,000 vacationers.

Anything born will die! Great civilizations have gone from the face of the planet! If Roman Empire, Indus Valley civilization, dynosaurs etc have perished, what else will not perish except Vedas that give only eternal righteousness (sanatana dharma)?

Another thing Trump has destroyed in the US.

Debt to USD 2 M.. Want more debts to fail and be denied .. So broke and collapse..

Will be a boost for the UK Tourism trade though 👍🏻 ParisCummings_

They left me stranded here in Grease. I'm good for the part because I'm 55 and playing a high school student, but I need to get out of here, Thomas Cook So this company knew it was rapidly running out of $$$, actively searching out an influx of cash, yet it still allowed their customers to purchase tickets and tours with the risk of being stranded? I wonder when corporate irresponsibility will be eradicated? (Rhetorical question)
