AirAsia Group branding head Rudy Khaw accepted the award at a ceremony held at the Majestic Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

The Putra Brand Awards, organised by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia in collaboration with Star Media Group Bhd and endorsed by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation , is Malaysia’s premier brand awards and measures consumer preference. It involves comprehensive processes in collaboration with its global research partner Ipsos, a leading global research agency with over 16,000 member staff in 88 countries.
There were a total of 23 categories this year, with a total pool of over 8,000 respondents nationwide providing insights and preferences regarding awareness, favourability, trust and advocacy towards brands from all categories.
