MANILA, Philippines – Mutya Pilipinas 1st runner-up Cyrille Payumo will compete in the Miss Tourism International 2019 competition in Malaysia after the country's representative, Tyra Goldman was rejected for having dual citizenship. In a statement, Mutya Pilipinas president Cory Quirino said that they respect the decision of the Miss Tourism International organizers on its new policy. Quirino said that they are currently looking into competitions they can send Goldman to.
Goldman was one of the main winners of the pageant along with Mutya Pilipinas Asia Pacific International Klyza Castro Castro and World Top Model Philippines April Short.
