Italy will lift its travel restrictions from next month as the country's tough lockdown restrictions ease. The government has signed a decree allowing international and domestic travel from the third of June.

For the past few months, entry into Italy has only been possible in exceptional cases due to the rapid spread of the coronavirus when it first broke out in the nation. Italy has the third-highest death toll globally with more than 31,000 people having died from the disease. Image: Getty
