BREAKING: EasyJet hackers steal information of 9,000,000 customers

Budget airline EasyJet said hackers have accessed the email and travel details of around nine million of its customers.

The credit card details of more than 2,000 of these customers have also been accessed in a reportedly ‘highly sophisticated’ attack. An EasyJet spokesperson said: ‘There is no evidence that any personal information of any nature has been misused. ‘However we are communicating with the approximately nine million customers whose travel details were accessed to advise them of protective steps to minimise any risk of potential phishing.’
