Patricia Yates, acting chief executive officer at Visit Britain, has warned that the UK faces a lost summer of domestic tourism unless public confidence in travelling can be restored. She told the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee that the losses from the coronavirus pandemic could be in the billions of pounds.
