Tourism Secretary Bernadette Puyat said Phidex aims to bring more dive enthusiasts, industry professionals, and renowned experts in a single online platform.

Romulo-Puyat said Phidex aims to bring more dive enthusiasts, industry professionals, and renowned experts in a single online platform.

“The virtual Phidex will also eliminate geographical barriers, reduce travel expenses, and continue to establish the Philippines as the region’s dive travel business hub,” she added. Phidex’s virtual Marketplace and Dive Travel Exchange will be free of charge for all establishments accredited by the DOT and Philippine Commission on Sports Scuba Diving.The Phidex will be from Oct. 1 to Dec. 31 while the Dive Travex will run from Oct. 9 to 11.
