KOTA KINABALU: Sabah will put in place an eight-day inter-district travel ban ahead of the state-level Pesta Kaamatan celebrations.
He said roadblocks would be set up to control movement of people between districts and only those with police permits and valid documents would be allowed to travel between districts. During the period, Kota Kinabalu City with neighbouring Putatan and Penampang districts will be considered as one district and any travel outside the areas will not be allowed.
Masidi, meanwhile, announced that the week-long inter-district travel ban for the Hari Raya period would be lifted on Monday .
