The CDC issued the new recommendation, which advises against travelling to 16 destinations, including Ireland, even if fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
It added that travellers should "follow recommendations or requirements in Ireland, including wearing a mask and staying 6 feet apart from others".

Its good to see that the usa are not taking any unnecessary risks with the Delta Virus, by warning against travel to lreland and from Ireland it's a pity we wouldn't do the same, instead of wanting to open up all costs.

Haha! Just returned from Ireland on a lovely two week visit. There is a fraction of COVID there. More in stupid Florida. Ireland takes COVID seriously. The US makes it a joke. The CDC is definitely stupid for thinking that issuing a warning about travel to Ireland.
