Airport cuts put holidays at risk, and Boris Johnson facing leadership challenges, lead the papers.

The majority of Tuesday's papers lead with the travel chaos at British airports, as passengers face long delays and missed flights during the half-term holidays. The Metro says staff shortages have caused misery for millions, leaving families sleeping on airport floors and queuing for up to eight hours for flights. The paper reports that Liberal Democrat transport spokesperson Sarah Olney has called for the government's Cobra committee to intervene.

The i reports that the possibility of a leadership challenge against Prime Minister Boris Johnson is growing by the day as more Conservative MPs call for the PM to resign or face a confidence vote. The paper says there is speculation in Westminster that Tory rebels are nearing the threshold of 54 letters of no confidence, which could trigger a rapid vote on the PM's future.
