of the world’s mightiest road cars, either internal combustion or electric, Mate Rimac bestrides Disruption like a colossus.
Later—after a nap and an espresso—I have a date with Rimac Automobili’s latest lightning bolt, the Nevera. Rimac claims the two-seater has the fastest quarter-mile acceleration of any globally homologated production car: a NHRA-worthy turn of 8.58 seconds and a trap-speed of 167.51 mph. Maximum output is a crisp 1,914 hp and 10,000 Nm of torque at the wheels.
Mr. Rimac promises the campus will be one of motoring’s classic destinations, like Ferrari’s Maranello or Lamborghini’s Sant’Agata. This is a man desperately in need of a bigger airport. On approach, the Nevera’s sinuous exterior looks surprisingly terrestrial, considering the ultra-performance regime. I’ve seen bigger rear wings. The wheel-and-tire package—featuring staggered 20-inch, 35-series Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, off the shelf—is downright bashful.
Not so great in Lemans
Será, más rápido que el mío incomprobable !!! 🇦🇷
