Hundreds of travellers found themselves stranded in Mexico after Sunwing cancelled flights because of poor weather conditions, while passengers were stuck on a train between Ottawa and Toronto for upward of 20 hours. During Monday’s meeting to discuss the scope of the study, MPs also added affected travellers and air passenger advocates to the list of those they want to hear from.

Transport Minister Omar Alghabra plans to attend a future meeting as well, after calls from Conservative and New Democrat MPs who say he must answer for how his Liberal government responded to the widespread disruptions.

Useless tit

Transport Minister has no clue what he’s doing.

Incapable of thinking just like his Furhere Trudope

We should be able to fire AH like this impostor!

I'll speak! Canadian airports are an utter embarrassment.

I will always remember Omar as the Minister of Delays.

It sucked! And he is a weasel!

So they can hear them but not listen to them

Yeah right ..perhaps a few low level bureaucrats might listen in during a coffee break for a chuckle.

Just look! thaaaaa

BonsieTweets Complain to who? This guy? 😂

They can just drag themselves to any airport. Seriously 😳

OmarAlghabra Finally we’re at a “committee” which means we are 1) 3 months away from an “inquiry” 2) 5 months away from Omar proclaiming nothing happened. Like delay reclassification… the bar will be arrival within 1 week “on time”

Are they going to also interview the millions of passengers effected by the weather both in Canada and the US during the holidays?

A walk through Pearson during holiday travel is where the committee can hear all they want from passengers.

Is he not capable of watching any news or reading a newspapr?Im sure even the Tsar and CBC must have heard from disgruntled annoyed travelers.Lets form a taxpayer funded committee instead.

How an Un-Canadian like him can tell Canadians how they can travel is still perplexing. Trudeau

Liberal party members who had a wonderful time go to the head of the line.

You're not blaming climate change for that?
