When can we get some Mars Opals
Time to program and send out a fleet of robots to mars/moon to kick start and build an infrastructure to prepare for human arrival. Would be helpful if we can control them from earth. Excited to see what’s ahead.
If you could make the regolith into cement then you could make domes or beehive shaped structures with a circular printer/ concrete pumper. If you could combine that with ice from Shackleton crater then you don’t have to ship most of the building materials to the moon.

Before we do any more plundering of beyond earth destinations I’d like to suggest that the US (incl NASA) NOT assume the role of leader in these efforts but rather consider collaborating with all the other nations on earth in a more democratic process.
I have a couple of ideas
Maybe somebody is not paying attention. Our right wing buddies are using their first efforts to improve our lives by cutting funding to the IRS, cutting social security, cutting medical care and so forth. All that does not seem to fit anymore.
The only way NASA gets there is with help from private industries. We wouldn't even be having this conversation if not for the recent advances made by SpaceX.
In response to the brick making method may I suggest you convert a micro chip machine to inject moon surface particles and bake tin on a conveyor belt Clay bricks with a small amount of water and Hot as a Furness
