Anton Du Beke was left emotional on the last episode of his BBC One travel show Anton & Giovanni’s Adventures in Sicily on Tuesday night.
Prior to the reveal, Giovanni, 32, told Anton: "Because this is lovely..." to which Anton said: "It's your birthday!" And it wasn't long until Anton's two excited children ran over to hug their dad as he lifted them up, exclaiming: "Hello my darling boy!"Talking about the surprise, an emotional Anton said: "I just, I'm so delighted because I was able to have my family and his [Giovanni's] family together. Aw, magic!"
In the three-part series, Anton and Giovanni explored everything from breathtaking sights such as Mount Etna and authentic old towns right through to sampling Sicilian cuisine and even indulging in a tango or two.
