KUALA LUMPUR, April 17 — The Inland Revenue Board has called on all taxpayers to check their tax arrears and travel restriction status before planning to go abroad.

It said in a statement today that the travel restriction is the last resort taken if a taxpayer fails to pay the outstanding taxes after various reminders and notices have been sent.
