Manchester Pride, which sees hundreds of Liverpool’s LGBTQ+ community flock to the neighbouring city, is set to take over the area this August Bank Holiday weekend.
The festival will open with the Human Rights Forum - a thought-provoking protest - on Friday night before The Gay Village Party kicks off with Trans Filth and Joy hosted by RuPaul’s Drag Race UK’s BIMINI, as reported by Manchester Evening News. Who is performing? Taking place across three different stages is the Gay Village Party - which will see a host of diverse music and performances at Sackville Gardens.
Rounding off the list is Eurovision legend Conchita Wurst, Gok Wan, Natasha Bedingfield, Lisa Scott-Lee and Jodie Harsh amongst others.
