It is reported that at approximately 20.10 on the abovementioned date, SAPS Despatch responded to a complaint, of an alleged hit and run accident on R75 Bayland, Despatch. On arrival they found a body of a 54-year-old man, lying close to the pedestrian crossing on the R75. A case of culpable homicide was opened and are under investigation.
