The Catholic Church in Jerusalem has voiced support for Sri Lanka's Christians and condemned Easter Sunday attacks on churches and hotels there that killed at least 156 people

"We pray for the souls of the victims and ask for speedy recovery of the injured, and ask God to inspire the terrorists to repent of their killing and intimidation," the statement said.

A string of blasts ripped through churches and high-end hotels as worshippers attended Easter services in Sri Lanka on Sunday. In a statement, Reverend Dr Michael Jackson said: "These Christians are our sisters and brothers. We stand in solidarity with them and they with us. Together we are one family of the resurrection."

Let's hear Pope Francis condemn it !

156 killed, yet nearly nowhere near the same level of faux outrage as with the New Zealand mosque attack. Liberals are disgusting

An attack on a place of worship should be offensive to the whole world

Another terrorist attack on Christians, getting so sick of this narrative placed on Islam, if the New Zealand shooting is a terrorist act this certainly is too, CALL IT WHAT IT IS!

How sad that religion can be seen as a symbol of hatred. At a time of great symbolism for Catholics all over the world we need to live in Peace, Respect each other and most of all 'Love'.

There about 6 years back and a driver took me all over the island and the north where most of the fighting was ..and told me many stories of the atrocities .. guess many don't forget or forgive !!

But they're only Christians and other non-important denominations, so it's not really news at all. None of the news coverage makes any reference to who is responsible. Strange that.
