Migrants News

Utah,Cox,Denver

Denver has paid travel costs for thousands of migrants to be flown or bused to Utah, and while officials first indicated the arrival of migrants was a surprise,

KUTV learned some may have been aware of the larger issue of migrants being sent to Utah for longer.

In the statement, Cox said he had "recently learned" of what Denver was doing, but it appears state officials had been aware of a similar situation months earlier. "When you hear governors say every state is a border state now, this is exactly what they're talking about," Cox said in reply.Migrants 'processed' at border flown unprepared to Salt Lake City

Cox demanded an end to the Denver program and called on the President and Congress to do something about it.
