With a number of high profile events taking place this weekend, Dublin City Council have issued a traffic update including pedestrianisation and traffic diversions

Dublin City Council and Irish Rail have issued travel updates as Dublin City prepares for one of the busiest weekends of the year so far.

Traffic Diversions Dublin City Council have issued this update in regard to traffic diversions across the weekend due to a number of Pride events taking place in the city.Eastbound traffic from Sarsfield Quay towards North City, will be diverted via Blackhall Place, Manor Street, Prussia Street, North Circular Road, Portland Row, Seville Place and Guild Street.

Westbond traffic from North Wall Quay towards South City will be diverted via Samuel Beckett Bridge, Sir Rogerson’s Quay, Cardiff Lane, Macken Street, Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Street Upper, Haddington Road, Mespil Road, Leeson Street Lower, St Stephen’s Green, Cuffe Street, Redmond’s Hill, Augier Street, South Great George’s Street.

Dart Extra DART and Commuter trains will operate before and after events including Taylor Swift concerts at the Aviva, All-Ireland Quarter Finals at Croke Park, Malahide Castle and Fairview Park concerts, and Flavours of Fingal in Donabate. For Taylor Swift, Dublin Bus & Bus Éireann services can be used to reach the Aviva Stadium. S2 now serves The Aviva Stadium.For the GAA Football All-Ireland Senior Championship Quarter Finals at Croke Park: Check service information for Croke Park before you travel.
