Texas Real Estate Source looked at how often Instagram posts tagged each of TripAdvisor's top tourist destinations in the state.

Scoot over, Austin, because San Antonio has two of the top five most-Instagrammable tourist spots in the Lone Star State. Countdown City’s own River Walk attraction is No. 1, according to a study from Texas Real Estate Source, while the Alamo comfortably sits at No. 4. To figure out which tourist destination was most 'Instagrammable,' Texas Real Estate Source used data from TripAdvisor to take a look at Texas' top tourist destinations.

Then, for each one, it looked at hashtags to see how many posts tagged the spot. With 168,901 posts using '#sanantonioriverwalk,' this Texas tourist attraction topped out at No. 1, while the Alamo ranked fourth with 144,245 posts. With plenty of shops, art installations, restaurants and natural greenery, it’s no wonder visitors love San Antonio’s most walkable attraction.
