The youth and sports minister says other ways must be found to ease PTPTN's burden and problems faced by graduates earning low incomes.

Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, speaking at the International Islamic University of Malaysia, says various ministries are discussing PTPTN’s loan problems.

Syed Saddiq was commenting on calls to reintroduce the travel ban for loan defaulters, if the majority of people are in favour of it. Syed Saddiq said from the very beginning, he had expressed his view that the unemployed should not have to face such harsh actions. “Blacklisting defaulters will only make life harder for them and more difficult for PTPTN to collect its debts.”

😂

No money to pay loan, yet still got money to travel. WTF
