Queensland tourism has been left suffering after Premier AnnastaciaMP flagged a potential September date for reopening the borders, which is 'going to kill tourism' according to Noosa tourism operator Chris Pullin.

Queensland tourism has been left suffering after Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk flagged a potential September date for reopening the borders, which is "going to kill tourism" according to Noosa tourism operator Chris Pullin. Premier Palaszczuk recently flagged her state borders could remain closed until September - a move NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian said would do nothing to eradicate coronavirus and would only stunt the economy.

"Take a straight line from Brisbane to Cook Town, there's two industries, mining and tourism. He said the mining industry doesn't rely on people flying into Queensland, "what we need in resorts, is people". Mr Pullin told Sky News host Paul Murray the tourism industry is suffering immensely as it stares at the line of business failing because of "some person who thinks 'I think I know more than you do'".

AnnastaciaMP She thinks that getting tough is going to win her the election. She will lose almost every seat Labor has.

AnnastaciaMP SHE IS BEEN TOLDno more no less

AnnastaciaMP Vandalism by premier! She will regret this, labour will be out for a very long time.

AnnastaciaMP Queensland Borders should definitely remain closed. Help protect the rest of Australia. covid

AnnastaciaMP Of course Sky News would say that 🤔

AnnastaciaMP My cancelled bali holiday was going to be in Qld, looks like NSW now

AnnastaciaMP This Socialist government does not care about business jobs or the economy. It wants you totally dependent on Big Brother for handouts then they can do what they like as you will owe everything.

AnnastaciaMP Think the original Daryl Somers pluckaduck has more brains and common sense than this pluckaduck.

AnnastaciaMP Australian democracy left in tatters by News Limited; time to purge Murdoch

AnnastaciaMP Pathetic. Would expect nothing less from a State Labor Premier drunk with power. We have one too in Victoria, we call him Chairman Dan DanielAndrewsMP

AnnastaciaMP She lives in lala land. Let people die from hunger. By the way your borders should be closed in February 2020 not in late march 2020.

AnnastaciaMP AnnastaciaMP is typical of modern political leaders in western countries. She’s become a parrot, endlessly repeating the advice of bureaucrats. Will our leaders ever get a spine? [sigh]

AnnastaciaMP On one hand she says matter to be reviewed at end of each month...at the same time she already called Sept as a possibility? She’s not serious about the huge losses and she’s an absolute idiot southern states doing well no need to isolate. Other states not worth mentioning!!!

AnnastaciaMP What a load of BS

AnnastaciaMP Queenslanders, get ready to throw Labor out

AnnastaciaMP Bye bye AnnastaciaMP the people of Queensland will speak.

AnnastaciaMP Simple it’s time to replace her! Like right now Queensland

AnnastaciaMP She's just enjoying the power thrill of control in her last month's as Premier. We have to hope that Jackie removes her soon, or we'll have to wait to vote her out at the election. Typical of the Left worldwide, trying to hurt the economy so badly, that people will blame others !

AnnastaciaMP Bad attitudes kill tourism, surely QLD have a plan?

AnnastaciaMP Arbitrary and senseless rules and restrictions. Right out of Mao’s playbook. Destroy the existing system. Forced compliance. And with the added prize of the entire economy What is our collateral? Land & labor. YOU. This is global terrorism by the globalists. Agenda21

chant_ian AnnastaciaMP Yeah Nah 🖕 The RabidRightDogs are barking again

AnnastaciaMP Clueless.

MRobertsQLD AnnastaciaMP “According to some knob in Noosa”. Cool. Why not interview all of Noosa, and while we’re at it— just have Noosa be head of the Covid division 😂

AnnastaciaMP To quote one of her own “What we have got is a dead carcass, swinging in the breeze, but nobody will cut it down to replace her”

AnnastaciaMP This woman has never been a friend to anyone outside of Brisbane.. anyone in any other area of the state is mad voting for these incompetent corrupt fools... she has no problem bankrupting tourism she has spent much of her terms bankrupting QLD.. she’s an expert at it. 🖕

AnnastaciaMP Big pharma has her by the balls

AnnastaciaMP I can’t think of a safer winter family holiday than chartering a yacht in the Whitsundays. Splendid isolation but no chance unless the Qld Premier sees sense. WhitsundaysQLD CostoMP whitsundayrc

AnnastaciaMP Please vote this moron out. Obviously health is important but it's all about balance. September is far too extreme on current trends and will destroy people's livelihoods.

AnnastaciaMP Palaszczuk is beginning to look like she is out of her depth as Premier

AnnastaciaMP Have you condemned that liberal politician that spread a Nazi photo of the Queensland premier yet Sky News

AnnastaciaMP Fucking Sky News is where the truth goes to die

AnnastaciaMP Nice try but most Queenslanders are ok with this

AnnastaciaMP I thought she was only keeping our borders closed to NSW, Vic & Tas?

AnnastaciaMP Money talks and bullshit walks ,she will back down, the election is getting close.

AnnastaciaMP When you are being paid by a communist government the rest i leave to you to decide

AnnastaciaMP tourism is more important than the health of my family? sorry for your business going broke but do you have economic support from Govt? Have you seen someone die from Covid? I am a nurse and I vote for health and safety not tourism sorry. I am with Annastacia all the way.

AnnastaciaMP so she isnt allowed to buy an airline to keep tourism alive and is now killing tourism with not following other far right demands?

MRobertsQLD AnnastaciaMP She’s the dan Andrews of the north.

AnnastaciaMP Power, power, give me more power !

AnnastaciaMP I bet the fine folks who call Noosa home just can’t wait to have some southerners bring up a batch or two of covid...

AnnastaciaMP If lesser measures can achieve the same risk prevention as the more stringent measures (or if the impact between them is minimal), then the more stringent measures might be seen to be unreasonably burdensome and, thus in breach of section 92 of the constitution.'

MRobertsQLD AnnastaciaMP To think qld people voted for her WOW

AnnastaciaMP Because the whole state is infected not just one tiny little part of it, right?

AnnastaciaMP QLDLabor will suffer one of the biggest loses in QLD election history for this tyrannical lock down stance. The QLD gov does not trust its own communities to be responsible adults, they treat us like cattle or uneducated minors, it's insulting & people are becoming angry.

AnnastaciaMP Would you prefer she allowed you to kill tourists instead?

AnnastaciaMP Must be an election coming Gleeson talking crap again he better watch out the UK shut down Foxl
