Former Queensland premier Peter Beattie has handed the state’s government his 11 point plan to restart the struggling economy.

It aims to restart jobs across the state, phasing out stamp duty and focusing on tourism

including a push for a New Zealand travel bubble. Queensland’s unemployment is currently at eight per cent.
