The DOT said it is now investigating the alleged use of clips not taken in the Philippines for the campaign video"Love the Philippines."

On Saturday, netizens pointed out that some clips used in the promotional vid were from other countries like Thailand, Indonesia, Switzerland, and the United Arab Emirates. The DOT secretary said that"while no public funds have been paid for the AVP in question as this particular component of the launch was released on account of DDB, the DOT holds the responsibility of promoting the country to the highest standard."
